APLA Health

APLA Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to health equity and promoting well-being for LGBT and other underserved communities and people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Bienestar

Bienestar is a community-based social services organization serving Greater Los Angeles. Their focus is on identifying and addressing emerging health issues faced by Latinx and LGBTQ+ populations. Bienestar reaches these unique populations through innovative and compassionate peer-to-peer modeling that is 100% culturally relevant to the communities they serve.

CA LGBTQ+ Health & Human Services Network



The California LGBTQ Health & Human Services Network is an LGBTQ-specific program of Health Access, bringing together more than 60 non-profit providers, community centers, and researchers to advocate collectively for state level policies and resources that will advance LGBTQ health. Founded in 2007, the Network provides coordinated leadership about LGBTQ health policy in a proactive, responsive manner that promotes health and well-being as part of the movement for LGBTQ equality, and ensures that there is a distinct LGBTQ voice in health policy decision-making venues.

Cedars-Sinai Cancer Community Outreach and Engagement

Cedars-Sinai Cancer’s Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) team reaches out to the LGBTQ+ community throughout Los Angeles County providing education on tobacco prevention and cessation. The COE team identifies LGBTQ+ tobacco users and refers them to the state quitline and cessation support groups with the goal of creating a tobacco free LGBTQ+ community.

Gender Justice LA

Gender Justice LA is a grassroots organization building the power of the transgender and gender non-conforming community here in LA. Since 1969, the Los Angeles LGBT Center has cared for, championed, and celebrated LGBTQ individuals and families in Los Angeles and beyond. Latino Equality Alliance

The mission of Latino Equality Alliance (LEA), a project of Community Partners, is to advocate for safety, equity, and wellness for the Latinx Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer + community. The organization strongly focuses on youth empowerment, family acceptance, educational equity, public health, and civic engagement. Through coalitions, they strive to build power to elevate the LGBTQ+ voices in Boyle Heights and the greater eastside communities of Los Angeles.

LGBTQ Center Long Beach

The Center began in 1977 as living room gatherings to discuss issues important to the LGBTQ community. The Center was officially incorporated in 1980 and has been providing a variety of health, social, advocacy, legal, and service programs to the LGBTQ community in the Greater Long Beach area for three decades. Today, we serve over 25,000 people a year and include an array of services including support groups, workshops and seminars, youth services, free HIV & STI testing, legal assistance, domestic violence services, employment referrals, mental health counseling, cultural and social activities including the QFilms Festival, educational forums, and a thriving volunteer program with an active database of over 300 volunteers.

Somos Familia Valle

Somos Familia Valle is a local LGBTQ+ community organization dedicated to support, empower, and mobilize families, and allies for racial, gender, and economic justice in the San Fernando Valley. They organize for intersectional LGBTQ+ liberation through transformative dialogue, advocacy, and civic engagement. St. John’s Community Health

St. John’s Community Health offers comprehensive, affirmative services to LGBTQ+ community members. The Prime Specialty Clinic focuses on patients along the HIV continuum of care, including testing, linkage to care, and treatment. The St. John’s Well Child and Family Center’s Transgender Health Program (THP) provides trans-specific and affirming services and is committed to protecting and improving the health of all transgender people in our communities. Services include primary and preventative medical care, hormone therapy, a community social group, referrals for gender affirming surgery, among others.

The mission of Still Bisexual is to foster public acceptance, awareness and understanding of bisexual, pansexual, fluid, and queer identities and the challenges they face; develop and promote self-acceptance, personal empowerment and visibility among bisexual, pansexual, fluid, and queer people; and to foster inclusivity and acceptance for bisexual, pansexual, fluid and queer people among the larger LGBTQIA+ community.

The Wall/Las Memorias

The Wall Las Memorias (TWLM) is a community health and wellness organization dedicated to serving Latino, LGBTQ, and other under-served populations through advocacy, education, and building the next generation of leadership. The Wall Las Memorias serves communities throughout Los Angeles by educating community members on the importance of HIV and AIDS, substance abuse prevention, mental health stigma reduction for LGBTQI2-S transitional-aged youth (TAY), transgender women’s health and wellness, non-binary health and wellness, and community building in the marginalized communities. The organization has helped eradicate stigma and bigotry and created a safer place in our communities for dialogue, community building, and education.

TransLatin@ Coalition

The TransLatin@ Coalition (TLC) was founded in 2009 by a group of Transgender and Gender nonconforming and Intersex (TGI) immigrant women in Los Angeles, California, as a grassroots response to address the specific needs of TGI Latin@ immigrants who live in the United States.

Since then, the agency has become a nationally recognized organization with representation in 10 different states across the U.S. and provides direct services to TGI individuals in Los Angeles. In 2015, The TransLatin@ Coalition identified the urgent need to provide direct services to empower TGI people in response to structural, institutional, and interpersonal violence, and the Center for Violence Prevention and Transgender Wellness was born. TLC’s primary focus is to change the landscape of access to services for TGI people and provide access to comprehensive resource and services that will improve the quality of life of TGI people.
